Senior Accountant Required in Dubai
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with 9 years of expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to accuracy, ethical standards, and effective financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and management expectations.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead budgeting processes and prepare annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide variance analysis with actionable insights to enhance cost control and support growth.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis on projects and investments, evaluate profitability, and provide key insights into the financial performance of real estate projects.
Cash Flow Management:
Oversee cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and optimize working capital to ensure financial efficiency and liquidity.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
Maintain and implement financial systems, policies, and internal controls to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Audit Coordination:
Facilitate internal and external audits, addressing audit findings, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
VAT & Corporate Tax Management:
Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of UAE tax laws.
Stakeholder Relations:
Provide financial reports and insights to senior management, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities while maintaining strong, transparent relationships.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 9 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on real estate or project development.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or professional qualifications like CPA/CA/CMA are a plus).
Proficient in ERP systems and financial software (e.g., Tally, Peachtree, QuickBooks, Odoo).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations is essential.
Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
Certifications:
GCC VAT Compliance Diploma
Advanced MS Office and Financial Software Proficiency
Preferred Experience:
Experience in working with real estate or construction companies.
Familiarity with financial modeling and cash flow forecasting in project-based environments.
