Main Objectives:
Ensure Bookkeeping for the Company in Healthcare
Handle administrative & control functions for the finance department
Finance and Accounts (Preparation & Presentation of Financial Statements and MIS report Business Plan, Budgeting and Treasury Management )
Main Activities / Functions /Responsibilities:
Accounting of transactions through the system and updating various modules in Hospital Management system and in Accounting software.
Processing of Payroll & WPS/Doctor’s commission and related/leave/final settlement.
Bank and supplier account reconciliations.
Processing Cash & Bank Payments.
Maintain proper filing system within the department.
Maintain relationships with third parties such as banks and service providers.
Managing Clinic Accounts, prepare necessary financial statements and MIS reports to enable efficient Management of the Clinic.
Responsible for Clinic Purchases, Inventory & Wastage management.
Analysing, Monitoring and provide necessary advice for the pricing of Clinic’s product and services, medical equipment, IT equipment & cost of new software, cost of Marketing promotional campaigns/activities, quotations from the suppliers, etc.
Collaboration with HR, Operations, IT, Marketing, Medical Heads related to budget, purchases, and expenses.
Updating the financial components of Business Plan, Consolidate, Manage the accounts Payable/receivables, and recommend measures for improving Clinic management 0f funds.
Updating the accounting system with invoices received from various service providers.
Ensuring regular suppliers account reconciliation and prompt payments to the service providers and accounting for the same
Updating the cash and bank accounts and maintain up to date balances.
Bank Reconciliations.
Update the Fixed Asset module with necessary information and ensure that the monthly entries pertaining to fixed assets have been accurately recorded.
Maintain a File Register to have proper control on the Files.
Maintain the finance manual indicating the policies followed within the department for bookkeeping and other finance activities and update the same for any changes.
Maintain relationships with banks and other third parties.
Preparing letters and other correspondences pertaining to the banks and other related parties.
Preparing Debit notes / Invoices as per the agreement.
Ensuring that all expenses have been checked and approved as per the company policy prior to entering them in the accounting system
Coordinating with the agents to ensure that bills are received in time and are in accordance with PO / Agreements
Ensuring that all expenses have been checked and approved as per the Clinic policy prior to entering them in the accounting system
Ensuring that all documents such as vouchers and payment instructions have been duly signed as per the policy.
Ensuring proper controls in the usage of petty cash and reconciling cash balance periodically.
Preparation of Financial Statement.
Accounts Consolidation and Statutory Reporting.
Budgeting (Capital Budget & Operating Budget) and monitoring of variances.
Attending to Statutory & Internal Audit.
Banking and Securing Debt Financing.
Funds Management and control (Treasury).
Business Plan (Financial Model).
VAT filing.
Ensure that the capital expenditure is monitored to the best interests of the company.
Competencies / Experience:
Minimum 5 years in Finance & Accounts in Healthcare is a must.
Salary range from 10,000 – 20,000 AED depending on experiences.
Experience in Preparation and Presentation of Financial Statement and Consolidation of Accounts.
Experience in Handling Statutory and Internal Audit in timely manner.
Experience in Treasury Management and Bank Debt arrangements.
Experience in VAT filing and knowledge about corporate tax.
Experience of a Management Accountant for the preparation and presentation of Budget (Capital and Operating) and Business Plan.
Knowledge and experience with the Commercial Law and Tax Regulations of GCC Countries.
Experience in Finance system and knowledge of MS Office and PowerPoint.
