We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Cashier. As a Sales Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of cash registers.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and assist them with their purchases –
Operate cash registers and handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently –
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area –
Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner –
Process merchandise returns and exchanges –
Ensure accuracy of cash registers and reconcile cash at the end of each shift –
Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking merchandise as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent –
Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred –
Strong communication and interpersonal skills –
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously –
Attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations accurately –
Proficiency in using cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems –
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
