Our client, a renowned clinic with several locations in Vietnam, is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join the team and to be based in the Ho Chi Minh City location.
POSITION SUMMARY
Evaluate patients by interviewing patients, family, and others; conducting physical examinations; observing behaviors; reviewing medical history and related documents; selecting, administering, and interpreting psychological tests; ordering laboratory tests and evaluating results.
Develop treatment plans by determining the nature and extent of cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders; and establishing treatment goals and methodologies.
Treats patients by utilizing psychotherapeutic methods and medications; discuss progress toward goals with patients; provide instructions; monitor the effect of medications; supervise staff provision of services.
Maintain interdisciplinary treatment by reviewing treatment plans and progress; consulting and collaborating with primary care physicians, mental health therapists, nurses, and other health care providers.
Maintain historical records by documenting symptoms, medications, and treatment events; write summaries.
Update job knowledge by participating in continuing medical educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
– Holder of a formal University Degree or Higher degree
– Holder of active Practice License
– Minimum 3 years experience in a Hospital Setting
– Fluent English
– Patient, and customer service skills
– Good communication and interpersonal skills in English
– Ability to work well in a team
– Ensure all patients and relatives are treated with respect and dignity at all times
– Work efficiently in stressful situations and able to response to challenging situations
