HAPI is a well-known fast-casual dining restaurant, with an ice cream shop and coffee bar.
We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our central kitchen production team. As a Pastry CDP, you will be responsible for producing a variety of pastry items. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of related experience in bakeries/pastry production kitchens.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare a variety of pastry items in a central production kitchen
• Ensure all products are of the highest quality and consistency
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in pastry in Hospitality/Food & Beverage establishments such as cafes and restaurants
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and methods
• Knowledge and understanding of baking techniques and methods
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare a variety of pastries
• Ability to create a range of pastries with unique and creative flavors
• Knowledge of current trends in pastry production
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations
