IT Support Engineer Required in Dubai

Job Descriptions

1.Responsible for local IT desktop service in the Dubai office, for example, employee onboarding/offboarding tasks, all hands meeting/events support, and remote IT support for other similar timezones.
2.Responsible for desktop operation and maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing the local office IT System, for example, Lark Rooms, projectors, and Audio/Video Systems support.
3.Ensure and optimize the office network, for example, server room facilities maintenance, such as server, firewall, switch, AP, etc.
4.Communicate between global IT teams about IT Policy implementation, System establishment, and updates when required.
5.Responsible for local IT vendor management, for example, project monitoring of office renovation & expansion, monthly preventative maintenance, etc. during vendor onsite.
6.Responsible for procuring local IT hardware and accessories and maintaining optimal IT inventory levels.
7.IT inventory management and collaboration with the global finance team during stock-take tasks.
8.Working as an ambassador for the IT team ensures a high level of communication, professionalism, and efficiency in all tasks.
9.Achieving IT helpdesk’s targets and working with the global IT team to solve issues and incidents in a quick, efficient, and professional manner.
10.Other tasks and IT duties as assigned by the IT team leader.

Skills & Competency

1.Degree in Information Technology equivalent
2.Fluent in English and Mandarin.
3.Candidates with at least 5 years experience in IT operations and Level 1/Level 2 end-user support or related fields would be preferred.
4.Good knowledge of Macbook OS/Google Workspace.
5.Experience in supporting VIP users.
6.Ability to solve problems independently.
