Job Title: Graphic Designer & Print Finisher

Job Summary:
Join ShareTheLove.ae, UAE’s leading personalized gifting store, as a Graphic Designer & Print Finisher. In this role, you will bring creativity and technical expertise to design and print custom gifts, packaging, and promotional materials. From concept creation to print finishing, you will help turn clients’ ideas into high-quality, beautifully personalized products. Your responsibilities will involve designing unique visuals for customized gifts, such as mugs, clothing, stationery, and packaging, as well as handling the final stages of print production and finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
Gift Design & Customization:
Design personalized gifts including mugs, t-shirts, stationery, photo frames, packaging, and more using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, creating custom graphics, text, and artwork for various gifting products.
Produce mockups for clients to review and finalize design choices based on their preferences.
Ensure all designs reflect ShareTheLove.ae’s brand quality and follow the latest trends in personalized gifting.
Adapt pre-existing designs to various gift items and formats, ensuring consistency in print quality and style.
Print Production & Finishing:
Oversee the print production process for custom gifts, including preparing design files for printing, ensuring accurate color profiles, and adhering to print specifications.
Operate and maintain print finishing equipment, such as sublimation printers, heat presses, cutters, and plotters, for the production of custom-printed gifts.
Handle specialty finishes such as embossing, engraving, foil stamping, and vinyl cutting to create bespoke, high-end products.
Perform quality checks on all printed items, ensuring that they are free of defects and meet the client’s specifications and high production standards.
Troubleshoot print and production issues, ensuring that deadlines are met and projects are completed to satisfaction.
Client Collaboration & Custom Orders:
Work directly with customers to develop unique design solutions that align with their vision for personalized gifts, whether for individuals, corporate events, or special occasions.
Provide expert recommendations on design elements, materials, print options, and finishing techniques to deliver high-quality, customized gifts.
Present digital proofs to clients for approval before moving to production, ensuring all revisions and preferences are incorporated.
Manage and track custom orders from design approval to print and finishing stages, ensuring timely delivery.
Project & Workflow Management:
Coordinate multiple custom gift design and production projects simultaneously, managing deadlines and ensuring smooth operation from design through to print finishing.
Maintain organized records of designs, materials, and production workflows to facilitate efficient repeat orders and track client preferences.
Maintain an inventory of materials, including blank gift items and print supplies, to ensure production runs smoothly and deadlines are met.
Innovation & Trend Awareness:
Stay updated on the latest design and gifting trends, experimenting with new ideas to offer innovative products to customers.
Research and test new materials, printing techniques, and customization options to expand ShareTheLove.ae’s product offerings.
Contribute creative ideas for expanding the personalized gifting range, whether for seasonal items, corporate gifts, or new product categories.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably with a focus on print and product customization.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and design software.
Experience with print production techniques, including sublimation, UV printing, heat transfer, engraving, and vinyl cutting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with various materials, textures, and surfaces for custom gift production.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
Skills:
Gift Design Expertise: Ability to design creative, personalized gifts using custom graphics, typography, and visual elements.
Print Production Knowledge: Proficiency in various printing methods (sublimation, engraving, heat transfer) and finishing techniques.
Client Communication: Strong ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored design solutions.
Project Management: Capable of managing multiple design projects and custom orders from concept to completion.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring all products meet high-quality standards in both design and finishing.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in a gifting or retail environment, ideally with a focus on custom, personalized products.
Knowledge of specialty printing techniques (e.g., embossing, engraving, foil stamping) and the use of associated equipment.
Familiarity with personalized gifting trends and innovative design ideas in the market.
