Key Responsibilities
Database Design
Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient database structures.
Develop and optimize database queries to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across databases.
Data Modelling
Develop logical and physical data models that accurately reflect the organization’s data requirements.
Translate complex business data requirements into technical specifications.
Implement data models that support various analytics and reporting needs.
Data Integration
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to integrate data from multiple sources.

Collaboration and Communication

Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments as needed.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of [7] years of experience in database design, data modelling, and data integration.
Proven experience in building data visualizations using Power BI.
Experience in Data warehouse platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake).
Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with ETL tools and processes.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in data modelling tools (e.g., Azure Analysis Services).
Expertise in Power BI, including DAX and M query language.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
