As the Manager, IT – Data Analyst, you will be a key member of the Information Technology team within Atlantis Dubai and will play a pivotal role in extracting valuable insights from our vast data sets, providing data-driven recommendations to optimise operations, personalise guest experiences, and drive revenue growth. You will collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources, including PMS, revenue management systems, waterpark, and guest feedback tools, as well as develop and maintain reports and dashboards to visualise key metrics and trends. You will also identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, increase guest satisfaction, and optimise marketing campaigns, whilst also partnering with key stakeholders across departments to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
Other key aspects of the Manager, IT – Data Analyst role will be to collaborate with IT colleagues in conceptualising and developing new solutions, applications, and dashboards, and also assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments. You will consult with other technical staff (internal and external) to provide expertise toward driving solutions and collaborate with business stakeholders to establish proper standard operating procedures.
About You
The ideal Manager, IT – Data Analyst candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering, and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an IT support role, with a specific focus on ticketing or hotel applications. You will also possess comprehensive knowledge of relational databases (SQL/Oracle) and query best practices, including expertise in triggers, stored procedures, and reporting using SSRS. You will also be proficient in SQL, Excel, Python and SSRS.
You will also have experience with business intelligence tools like Power Bi or Tableau and an understanding of AI-driven analytics, as well as experience in various web programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
