I. JOB SUMMARY
Junior Barista will provide customers with freshly made drinks and food items in a fast-paced hospitality environment. A Barista for the Al khoory Hotels engages with our guests during their visit, receives/serves orders and ensures brand service standards are met to the highest qualifying levels of customer service and the ability to work quickly and accurately are key to this role.
II. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all necessary tasks to service beverages in the outlet according to the standard of the hotel.
Provides quality beverages, whole bean and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipes and presentation standards.
Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all the products.
Receives and processes payments.
Achieves total guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.
Works towards the timely set up of the outlet areas and the completion of all mise en place work in line with the opening hours.
Delights the guests by offering trend setting and innovative products and services, contribute to sales activities and assist in maximizing revenue.
Keeps the supplies and stock upto requirements. Prepare store requisitions.
Extends prompt services to all guests and treat guests and colleagues in a courteous manner.
Ensures all hygiene standards are met and kept within the outlet environment.
Ensures all opening and closing checklists are complied with at all times.
Proper shift handovers to inform colleagues about what happened in the shift and what is important for the rest of the day/week.
Conducts weekly training sessions on coffee and tea preparation, current and upcoming promotions, and up-selling of any F&B products in conjunction with the outlet supervisor.
Attends all F&B menu item related trainings.
Supports and provide assistance to other outlets whenever necessary.
Pass on the necessary skills to the waiters by training them periodically.
III. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accountable for the day-to-day of Barista Operations
Previous experience as Barista.
Experience in Latte Art.
Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills.
Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service.
Minimize operating cost by using all equipment and products in accordance with guidelines set.
