Job Purpose
Act as the client-facing point of contact between the HR Department and designated business areas to ensure that the HR needs of the business are met.Is accountable for meeting the business HR needs through coordination with the other elements of the HR delivery model; Centre of Excellence and HR Operations.Supports the business in all aspects of human resources, ensuring legislation is adhered to and that personnel are used in the most effective manner for both the company and the employee.
Key Accountabilities
Establish relationships with the business and contribute proactively to business unit plans.
Communicate annual overall HR calendar of HR programs & activities so the business can plan accordingly.
Responsible for leading the annual manpower and recruitment plan with the business and finance
Accountable for the cost effective implementation of the recruitment plan within SLA
Accountable for the communication & implementation of HR programmes within the business
Ensures that the implementation of HR programmes are monitored and reported as appropriate.
Accountable for ensuring the business area understands and adheres to HR policies and processes
Monitors employee relations and coordinates with the Grievance & Disciplinary Committee
Advises and supports line managers in disciplinary/grievance cases
Provide HR advice and support to managers and staff on a wide range of strategic and operational human Resources issues
Equip line managers with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people
Partners with HR Operations to ensure seamless and customer-centric HR service delivery
Partners with the OD, Talent & Performance Management Centre of Excellence to create innovative and customer-centric HR solutions.
Recommend HR process improvements, particularly focusing on the use of technology to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Spends a significant amount of time physically co-located with the designated business rather than within the HR Department.
Education Minimum University Graduate (Masters Degree preferred) in HR or related discipline Experience and Skills
• Required 7-10 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a business partner role
• HR Generalist with strong experience in managing recruitment processes
• Experience in utilising HR systems
• Banking Sector experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience working in Middle East
• Professional HR Qualification e.g. CIPD, GPHR etc
• Languages –English & Arabic (preferred)
