ACCOUNTANTS – BRANCH MANAGERS FOR NIGERIA (GOOD PERKS & SAVINGS)
A well-established Indian owned group based in Dubai has set up a new operation in Nigeria (West Africa) to launch the import and distribution of a variety of products and other projects needs someone who has an accounting background and experience but is looking for better challenges to improve his career prospects, standard of living and savings. Some one who is hard working & energetic, well organized, efficient, and educated with good English communication skills and a pleasing personality.
Responsibilities / Duties:
The person will be required to supervise all the responsibilities and day to day running of the entire accounts and stock systems of the company through a team of local staff (accountants & inventory staff). These responsibilities will include
full book-keeping, accounts documentation from petty cash book, payment vouchers, cheques, ledgers, balance sheet.
Preparation and analysis of various financial & accounting charts for the company, budgets, profit & loss statements and projections.
Reconciliation of various bank accounts and maintaining banking records + handling all correspondence with the bankers.
Overseeing all Accounts receivable of customers & accounts payable. Handling of all outward payments and inward receipts for the company.
Preparing various reports for the Directors, handling company’s staff payroll, local purchasing (negotiation & finalizing of terms) of materials and consumables etc. Negotiation with local contractors and service providers for the company.
Recommend and implement cost savings and improved efficiency measures to the company management. Oversee and control the entire branch as a manager
There will also be some admin work and outside work of meeting customers, PR etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
*University Degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or Business
*Minimum 6 to 8 years of work experience as an Accountant in an office in India and the the UAE.
*Fluency in English – both Spoken and written is a MUST
*UAE Driving Licence is a must – only holders of UAE licence will be considered
*Proficiency with computers and basic software programmes: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, etc.)
*Complete working knowledge with computerised accounting systems such as Tally, Quickbooks, etc
*Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritise, work under pressure, and get the job done within the given deadlines
*Must be motivated, organized, and systematic
*Cheerful and a calm team worker

– Job is based in Nigeria and family status is allowed
– Company paid flight tickets from and to Nigeria – India for staff and family
– High Net monthly savings (from the tax free salary) which can be sent home – min. AED 5,500 to AED 6,000.00 depending on qualification and experience.
