Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant at Sports Genius. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and analyzing financial data. Daily tasks will include reconciling bank statements, preparing monthly financial statements, and processing accounts payable and receivable. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to support business operations and provide financial analysis as required.
Qualifications
Knowledge of accounting principles and standards, and experience in preparing financial statements
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel spreadsheets
Experience in accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliation of bank statements
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work with large volumes of data
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in accounting
Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are a plus
E-commerce experience is preferred.
