ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED IN DUBAI
Job Description:
We are engaged in the business of supermarket and Online Delivery in Dubai and looking for an ambitious Accountant to provide support to the accounts department by managing daily accounting tasks.
• Responsible for day to day finance & accounts operations
• Timely recording of all financial transactions e.g., accounts receivable, accounts payable, Cash expenses, payroll, closing entries, write offs etc.
• Maintenance of proper books of accounts as well as preparation of all types of vouchers
• Scrutiny of vendor invoices and process vendor payments in accordance with payment terms
• Ensure timely payments to vendors
• Ledgers reconciliation
• Participate in periodical stock take and make necessary adjustments in books after variance justification & management approval
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Handling all banking matters and prepare bank reconciliation statements
• Proper knowledge of UAE VAT laws & labour laws
• Preparation of necessary details for filing of VAT returns
• Organize Tax invoices, Input & Output VAT ledger reconciliation with VAT Return
• Liaison with external auditors during the course of conducting annual audit of financial statements
• HR related matters [Preparation of employees files, process monthly payroll and leaves record, etc.]
• Prepare fixed assets register and ensure that all company assets are properly tagged
• Further duties may be assigned when required
Skills / Requirements:
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to details
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Should have good communication skills and initiative
