FINANCIAL CONTROLLER REQUIRED IN DUBAI
We are urgently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team, as a Financial Controller (FC) for Hotel who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts department, like preparation and management of the Property’s financial budgets, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the Hotel Property.
Duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
• Enforces, documents and establishes adequate controls for all revenues and expenses and protection of assets, and ensures controls will satisfy or improve the level of guest service.
• Responsible for the property’s overall accounting and financial management.
• Responsible to represent the finance department during daily morning meetings.
• Responsible for the local tax authority compliance for the hotel.
Responsible for preparing and reviewing annual budgets, monthly P&Ls;, balance ledgers.
• Responsible for verifying all financial reports and ensuring that all transactions are accurate and in compliance with local government regulations.
Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
• Able to prepare and submits management reports in a timely manner and also ensuring delivery deadlines.
• Maintains accurate and timely financial and operating information and provides analyzes, interpretations and projections to management as required.
• Performs duties as required by the Corporate/Regional Controller in respect of controls.
• Assists and provides financial guidance in the formulation and implementation of the business plan, hotel and departmental budgets, and objectives programme, and manage relevant budgets appropriately.
• Implements and maintains acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required by corporate policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices, and those affected by local conditions.
Requirements:
• Excellent Communications Skills
• 2-3 years’ experience leading/managing a team
• Hotel experience is a must
• Proficient in written and spoken English
Education:
Qualified Charted Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants(ACCA) or Similar or 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or similar major.
